Description

• Manage the Order to Cash cycle and month-end close process for revenue • Ensure accurate revenue recording and serve as subject matter expert for revenue recognition • Maintain revenue accounting policies in accordance with ASC 606 • Maintain internal controls and evaluate compliance with revenue accounting process • Provide expertise on revenue recognition practices for various teams • Communicate and establish relationships with internal teams • Manage external auditors and internal financial reporting team on revenue disclosures • Lead process improvement and system implementation projects • Perform other ad hoc responsibilities as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum 10 years of revenue accounting experience required; experience in SaaS revenue is a must • Advance knowledge of ASC 606 revenue accounting guidance • Big 4 CPA firm (or regional equivalent) and public company experience required, licensed CPA preferred • Experience partnering with FP&A to deliver insightful information • Experience with project-based revenue accounting processes required • Experience with complex multiple element arrangements required, SaaS or Software company preferred • Experience with revenue system implementation a plus • Hands on experience with Oracle and Salesforce a plus • Proficiency with Excel is a must (e.g., Pivot table, vlookup, sumif, iferror, etc.
