β€’ BioMarin is a global biotechnology company that relentlessly pursues bold science. β€’ The Director, PKU Sales will lead a team of PKU Account Managers. β€’ Responsible for achieving revenue and unit targets while managing operating expenses. β€’ Requires strategic agility, business acumen, and leadership. β€’ Ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience. β€’ Must train, coach, and develop a sales team of Account Managers. β€’ Must be able to operate effectively in a highly regulated environment. β€’ Ability to travel 60% of time based on business needs.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Minimum 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech experience β€’ 6+ years biotech/specialty sales involving high value products. β€’ 8+ years field sales management experience in large geography with focus on specialty office sales (injectables) β€’ Experience hiring, building, and managing new teams in a key brand for the organization. β€’ Demonstrated ability to think and communicate strategically. β€’ Strong analytical, problem solving, and contingency planning skills. β€’ Strong history of exceptional team sales performance β€’ Strong history of sales team(s) performance management β€’ Confident and influential presenter, adept at engaging senior leadership. β€’ Willingness to travel extensively, greater than 60%. β€’ Promoting/managing promotion to office based and institutional KOL centers. β€’ Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word β€’ Genetics, Dietitians and/or comparable experience. β€’ Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, medical, operations, patient services, etc.) β€’ Experience in cross functional roles (marketing, field reimbursement, operations) β€’ Patient events/advocacy work experience
