Description
• Bitcoin Depot is looking for an Assistant Controller who will report to the Controller and manage all aspects of the general ledger and monthly accounting close process for Bitcoin Depot (BTM: NASDAQ). • Lead the team in charge of the monthly accounting and reporting • Perform analysis of financial and operational results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis • Develop and drive changes in the accounting and close process • Support the CFO on M&A activity as needed • Adhere to stringent public company deadlines and varying workloads on the finance department • Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve existing models and templates • Set direction for multiple direct reports
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree. • Minimum of 3 years experience in an assistant controller role within a public company and 7+ years of overall experience • Management experience • Drive process changes and improvements • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Data analysis experience • Basic level of cryptocurrency knowledge • Experience with financial reporting • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. • Strong financial modeling skills to support ad-hoc requests. • Drive to meet commitments/deadlines. • Ability to apply good judgment to business planning and annual planning processes. • Strong business partnering/team building skills. • Assertive, Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, gets-things-done attitude. • Strong personal computing skills.
