📋 Description
• Bitstrapped seeks a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to work with Google Cloud experts • Engage in design, programming, and implementation of data and database components • Execute projects with large-scale enterprise ETL processes • Develop scalable code for real-time data availability • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and CI/CD tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent listening skills
🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (This is a must) • 5+ years experience as a data engineer or software engineer in a professional environment • 5+ years of experience with data ingestion, batch, stream, processing, ETL, and sinks/taps • Strong database knowledge and scaling applications with scalable data storage • Ability to architect, develop, and test code at an enterprise level, adhering to software engineering best practices • Ability to design data models with a strong understanding of modeling design patterns • Has knowledge and experience working on distributed systems (monitoring, alerting, message contracts) • Cloud GCP - GCP Data Engineer certification preferred • Bonus Experience with Knowledge of Azure/AWS • Experience with statistical models or machine learning
