Description

• Manages the transition from project award to final design • Manages 3rd party engineering firms, processes, and standards to ensure reliable, quality, and safe designs • Leads the design process through IFC design and serves as the Company representative during design phase • Aligns with the construction management team to ensure they have the design plans, quantities, and parameters to build the work • Design work primarily focused on energy storage systems, underground collection systems, substations, SCADA/communication systems, transmission lines, and solar/PV arrays • Provides training and mentorship for project and technical personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related degree from an ABET accredited college • At minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-In-Training (EIT or FE) certificate with potential to become a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in 6 months preferred • Four or more years of progressive engineering, engineering supervisory, and/or construction related experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required • Project Engineering experience on renewable energy projects (Wind, Solar, or BESS) preferred • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, with an emphasis on construction and electrical engineering
