• Lead day-to-day sales operations and grow AfroTech’s sales, revenue operations, and commercial strategy. • Oversee the AfroTech Sales team to lead all aspects of sales growth, sponsorships, and strategic agency partnerships. • Motivate, inspire and drive success through the Sales Team - leading with clarity and driving success through results. • Lead from the front - this is a hands-on role working closely with the sales team and prospects. • Develop and execute strategic plans and processes to achieve sales targets and expand agency relationships. • Oversee and expand key external relationships to drive AfroTech’s growth and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. • Partner with brands and clients to understand their business needs and objectives. • Identify, advocate, and improve brand values and identities, ensuring they are communicated across a variety of media and sales channels in a consistent and appealing manner. • Identify new and emerging revenue opportunities and business lines.
• Bachelor’s degree • 10+ years of experience in business development, brand building, people management and revenue growth • 5+ years of proven leadership experience developing mid-level talent • Demonstrated ability to set, manage, and track against a set of diverse, strategic KPIs • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue while putting community first • Demonstrated skill in leading complex sales teams in a fast-paced environment, and in managing senior leaders and executives • Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Asana, and/or comparable project management suite • Excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly and effectively communicate complex information in both verbal and written formats • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated experience tracking core business metrics and driving decisions based on that data • A healthy appreciation of GIFs and Black culture
