Requirements

β€’ 6-9 years' experience writing and editing developer documentation β€’ Proven ability to lead documentation projects β€’ Excellent developmental editing, writing, and verbal communication skills β€’ Ability to produce quality documentation with aggressive deadlines β€’ Proven ability to work well with people and on a team β€’ Experience writing for an international audience β€’ Proficiency in both spoken and written English β€’ Experience with HTML/CSS/Markdown language and git repositories β€’ Basic understanding of JavaScript and Web concepts, with ability to test small snippets of code β€’ Familiarity with modern content guidelines, documentation release processes, and management tools β€’ Advanced degree in Technical Communication or related field (preferred) β€’ Experience with DITA and other structured authoring methodologies (preferred) β€’ Proficiency with authoring systems like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, oXygen, or XMetaL (preferred) β€’ Experience detailing APIs and Web technologies (preferred) β€’ Familiarity with agile development methodologies (preferred) β€’ Knowledge of accessibility standards for documentation (preferred) β€’ Experience with documentation localization processes (preferred) β€’ Certifications in technical writing or related fields (preferred) β€’ Must be a US Citizen or legal resident and able to work domestically β€’ Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
