📋 Description

• Provide legal guidance on a broad spectrum of employment law issues, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence and accommodations, compensation and benefits and internal investigations. • Review, revise and scale employment policies and practices at a rapidly growing company. • Evaluate and update employment templates. • Manage employment-related disputes and investigations. • Develop and implement training, education and onboarding programs for employees, managers and People team. • Collaborate closely with People and Culture team on company-wide initiatives and policies affecting employees. • Develop and implement standardized templates and processes to help the Legal team scale efficiently during a period of high growth. • Work on other ad hoc projects as needed by the Legal team, with an ability to help define your role as the business and the Legal team continue to grow.

🎯 Requirements

• JD with excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one state bar. • 4+ years of combined, relevant experience in law firms, governmental agencies and/or in-house legal departments. • Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States. • Excellent oral and written communications skills, together with an ability to distill complex concepts into clear, accessible advice. • Ability to own, organize and prioritize projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Superior interpersonal skills and team-first attitude. • Sound practical business judgment. • Previous experience with healthcare, specifically within the pharmaceutical supply chain, and HIPAA preferred.
