Description

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for EDS components, ensuring high coverage and performance. • Design and implement test automation frameworks that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Ensure compliance with best practices for testing within the EDS architecture, including ADA and performance standards. • Perform regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure the quality of reusable component blocks and custom variations. • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues to resolution, working closely with the development team. • Assist in creating and maintaining testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, and test data sets. • Optimize and scale automation scripts to handle complex component interactions across diverse client environments. • Validate cross-platform compatibility, browser responsiveness, and ADA compliance of EDS components. • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years experience in manual and automated testing within a web delivery environment. • Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar). • Strong experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Experience troubleshooting JavaScript, HTML, CSS and utilizing front-end testing tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha). • Familiarity with EDS architecture and reusable component-based development. • Understanding of ADA compliance standards and best practices for web accessibility testing. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and effectively document testing outcomes.
