•Company Overview: Blue Energy’s mission is to unlock energy abundance, energy affordability, energy security, and turn-key decarbonization by developing the fastest path to deploying new nuclear MWs at scale. •We are utilizing shipyard manufacturing supply chains and techniques from offshore oil and wind to reduce the cost of nuclear plants by over 60% and the manufacturing timeline to 24 months. •Blue Energy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Modeler to join our team for a Small Modular Reactor development project. •The 3D Modeler will play a critical role in creating accurate and comprehensive 3D models of mechanical, structural, and electrical components involved in power plant design and construction. •These models will be used for planning, simulation, and execution purposes, as well as fund-raising and marketing. •Excellent communication and presentation skills will be imperative.
Requirements
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, CAD Design, or related fields. •Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a 3D modeler, preferably in power plant, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects. •Technical Skills: •Expertise in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks, or similar. •Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is a strong plus. •Strong understanding of power plant components, such as turbines, boilers, piping, and electrical systems. •Proficiency in clash detection and resolution techniques. •Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical documentation, and construction plans. •Certifications: PMP or other project management certifications are a plus. •Soft Skills: •Strong attention to detail with a focus on creating accurate and realistic models for real-world application. •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
