• About Blue J • Blue J is the leading solution in generative AI for tax experts. Our cutting edge, AI-driven tax research software is the best in the market, driving deeper, more efficient research answers for accountants and lawyers across North America and in the UK. • The Opportunity • We’re looking for a Tax Lawyer or Tax Accountant with 4-7 years of experience in SALT (state and local tax) to join our team as a SALT Research Associate. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in SALT. As a SALT Research Associate, you will use your tax expertise to play a central role in continuing to develop Blue J, our large language model-enabled tax research tool. As a key member of our growing team of tax researchers, you’ll have the unique opportunity to participate in building the next generation of world-class tax research tools. • In this role, you will gain invaluable experience and learn from some of the best in the field of AI and tax. While we’re an AI company, experience in AI is not required. We’re looking for someone who loves tax and is passionate about how technology can make tax law more transparent and accessible. Your tax expertise will be instrumental in helping our team as we move this mission forward and take Blue J to new heights. • If this sounds like something that you’re excited about, we would love to meet you! Requirements

• We’re looking for a lawyer or accountant who is passionate about tax, and is excited about innovation and AI. Experience in tech is not required - we’re looking for an eagerness to put your transferable skills to use! Here are a few things we need from you: • A JD or a CPA designation • 4-7 years of professional experience working in SALT • LLM in Taxation or MTax (Master of Taxation) a strong asset • Passion about how much more technology can do to improve the tax profession, and excitement about being a part of it • An open mind and eagerness to learn
