• The Healthy Planet Analyst III is a senior application analyst responsible for aligning IT technology solutions with BMC value based care (VBC) strategies. • Responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to clinical and operational business needs. • Functions as a senior member of the EHR team, displaying a leadership presence. • Develops and maintains credibility and effective working relations with operational customers and fellow IT staff. • Provides technical guidance to business processes on complex projects. • Responsible for application-based solutions and recommends options, risks, costs vs benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • M.P.H. (Masters of Public Health) degree and/or R.N. (Registered Nurse) license a plus • Epic Healthy Planet or EpicCare certification required • Epic Clarity Data Model and/or Caboodle Data Model certification a plus • At least 3 -5 years of experience in either of the following: Business application design, development, and installation, or Significant healthcare background with demonstrated abilities in the applications arena. • Epic Clinical EHR knowledge with strong preference for existing certification in the following areas: ambulatory, decision support, registries, dashboards, slicer-dicer and workbench reporting. • Knowledge of the assigned business area’s products and processes. • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business. • Strong understanding of project management concepts and documentation for planning and implementing projects in a complex environment. • Strong written communication skills, including technical writing. • Strong verbal communication skills across all levels and departments within the organization • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; a demonstrated track record in new concept development for various projects and complex technical plans. • Ability to solve problems often spanning multiple environments in a business area • Efficiently manage time to provide a high level of output • Understanding of how IT can impact our organization and the ability to link it to redesigned business processes • A team player who is flexible, friendly, congenial, and enthusiastic. • HL7 knowledge is a plus • Report writing skills are a plus • SQL querying knowledge a plus
