Description

• Bombora, the leading global B2B intent data and solutions provider, is powered by the world’s largest publisher data co-op. • Our data allows sales and marketing teams to understand which companies are in market for their products and services. • As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our systems that handle billions of content interactions every day to detect intent signals from companies across the world. • You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and other engineers, applying your strong critical thinking and analytical skills to transform visions into reality. • Additionally, you will have the chance to lead cross-team initiatives, provide guidance to your team members, and establish engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience in Python. • 7+ years of SQL experience (BigQuery preferred), including deep knowledge of database design and query optimization. • 3+ years of experience developing systems to process large volumes of data (tens of billions of records), ideally DAGs in Airflow/Composer. • Deep understanding of distributed, parallel data processing techniques and platforms. • Experience mapping business requirements to appropriate technical solutions. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and team growth. • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
