Backend Software Engineer

Description
• Work closely with the global engineering team to strengthen existing products and build new ones • Build out backend functionality for existing and new product lines such as Credit, Wallet, Bill Pay • Integrate with various third-party systems • Scale backend services and pipelines to handle traffic and complexity • Build tools for operations teams to manage customer inquiries and business processes
Requirements
• Strong experience (4+ years) in building backend software for web-based or mobile products • Excellent collaborator and communicator • Excited by the prospect of working in a distributed team • Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage, and agile development methodologies (Preferred) • Pragmatic understanding of technology and product needs (Preferred) • Highly entrepreneurial with ownership of impact (Preferred) • Proactively identify problems and propose solutions (Preferred)
