📋 Description

• Consult & Advise: Help define how mental health care fits into our current structure for improving the lives of patients with chronic respiratory diseases. • Provide Patient Care: Transition into a clinical role, delivering virtual mental health support to patients dealing with the emotional and psychological challenges of living with chronic respiratory diseases. • Work Collaboratively: Partner with PTs, NPs, RRTs, and PTAs to provide holistic, patient-centered care. • Consultation Phase (Initial Scope): Collaborate with clinical leadership to assess current patient needs and gaps in mental health support. • Recommend best practices for integrating mental health services within a pulmonary rehab setting. • Clinical Phase (Ongoing Contractor Role): Provide virtual therapy, counseling, and/or coaching to patients with chronic respiratory diseases experiencing anxiety, depression, or other psychological barriers to care. • Develop individualized mental health strategies to help patients improve adherence to their rehab plans. • Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver high-quality, engaging mental health services.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed in Arizona • Experience providing therapy, counseling, or behavioral health interventions (preferably with patients managing chronic illnesses). • Comfortable working in a virtual/telehealth setting. • Passion for interdisciplinary care and a holistic approach to health and wellness. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
