Description

• As a Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer, you will support application engineers by providing tools, systems and container platform. • Ideal for candidates looking to develop skills and progress career within a dynamic scale up environment. • Join an on-call rota to respond to issues outside standard working hours. • Improve container infrastructure and potentially adopt EKS. • Automate IaC and scaling events to enhance resiliency.

Requirements

• Solid experience with OKD, OpenShift, or Kubernetes administration, including the building, deployment and management of containerised workloads • Experienced in developing infrastructure as code using common languages and tooling including a working knowledge of Linux • Background in working with clustered, highly available and fault tolerant systems • A working knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform e.g AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean • A pragmatic problem solver, with good attention to detail and communication skills • A strong collaborator who enjoys pairing and is eager to share knowledge and expertise with others • Growth mindset, with an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies • Experience working in PCI accredited environments where security is a key consideration • Knowledge and understanding of the payments industry • Background in a FinTech start-up/scale up environment • Practical knowledge of the Atlassian software suite
