• Supports risk prevention activities at the direction of the Manager/Director/VP and Market/Ministry level to which the Specialist is assigned • Manages data and information for utilization by Risk Management Leadership in response to or anticipation of Leadership needs and Strategic Objectives • Supports all aspects of data analysis and management for the assigned Market(s)/Ministry level to which the Specialist is assigned • Provides reports and information for and at the direction of Risk Management Leadership team members • Proactively anticipates and evaluates Risk Management information needs for Board and Committee reports, Educational Sessions and meetings, and Risk Investigations / RCAs • Analyzes Event Trends and Claim Data in support of Risk Initiatives/Objectives • Supports data management needs of Risk & Insurance Leadership team • Collaborates with staff at all levels in various departments to ensure timely response and collaboration to meet the demands of the Ministry
• Required Minimum Education: Associate Degree or comparable experience • Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree Specialty/Major Healthcare, Business, Insurance or related field • Minimum Years and Type of Experience 3+ years in Risk Management, Quality, Operations or Administration in a Healthcare or Insurance organization • Previous experience in health care, underwriting or malpractice insurance preferred. • Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications • Excellent organization skills and strong ability to multi-task • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor • Ability to extract, compile, analyze and develop large amounts of complex data from various sources
