📋 Description

•Budderfly is a fast-growth, private equity-backed energy management outsourcing company committed to reducing global carbon emissions. •In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for tailoring HVAC solutions by customer location prior to implementation. •Using practical engineering expertise, the person plays a critical role in supporting the company’s dedication to applying the right set of energy saving solutions.

🎯 Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) •5+ years of design and/or construction experience with HVAC systems including but not limited to Air, Water and Ground Source Heat Pumps, traditional rooftop units and split systems, VRF and ERV/HRV systems, kitchen hoods, exhaust fans, and variable frequency drives. •Strong background working with MEP contractors and project managers, understanding in’s and out’s of how MEP contractors operate (schedule, resources, logistics, procurement, etc…) •Proven understanding of HVAC building operations and thermodynamics. •Knowledge and practical application experience of ASHRAE Standards, the International Mechanical Code, and the International Energy Conservation Code. •Robust organizational skills including attention to detail and the ability to multitask. •Ability to communicate effectively and continuously with non-engineers, both internally within Budderfly and externally, in person and virtual. •Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; adept at learning new software programs.
