Description

• Responsible for completing assignments related to highway design, drainage design, and other duties • Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates • Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work • Proactively assist Project Managers and Project Engineers • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and clients • Maintain accurate records of project details including design documents, progress reports, and budget information

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred) • 5-10 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred • Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it • Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, STAAD, Bridge Design Software preferred • Experience with NYSDOT and/or PennDOT required
