Description

• Remote Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Children and Young Adult), BACP Accredited • Nationwide – remote • Our Accredited Counsellors work 8-hour shifts covering the hours between 8am to 8pm, weekends as required to manage a case load of telephone counselling clients. • The Mental Wellbeing Practitioner Role will provide high quality, safe and effective support to Bupa corporate customers. • Deliver a telephone counselling service to Children and Young people in accordance with Bupa policies and procedures. • Help us make health happen by providing telephone counselling to a case load of Children and young people, short, medium, longer term sessional work with a varied mix of client presenting problems. • Conduct mental health triage assessments. • Assess and manage risk to clients and others as required. • Work in adherence to professional standards and compliance with regulatory framework.

Requirements

• Recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher • BACP Accredited • 3 Years post qualification • 2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services • Preferably previous experience providing telephone counselling over short, medium or longer term • Experience in working with complex cases is desirable • Strong IT skills – experienced MS Office packages (including preferably MS Teams) – this is a busy computer and phone-based role
