Description
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and their families with mild-to-moderate mental health problems. • Deliver one-to-one CBT intervention to children and young people who are experiencing emotional distress (other modalities of therapies are desirable) • Identify and raise safeguarding concerns and appropriately share these with the Safeguarding Lead • Attend and contribute to clinician support activities such as risk, MDT, reflective practice, learning, and development seminars
Requirements
• Qualified and experienced in delivering CBT-based interventions (although other modalities and/or an integrative approach can be used too) • You must be registered with a professional organisation to provide therapy • You must have recent and relevant experience providing therapeutic interventions to young people and their families • You must have your own insurance and clinical supervision in place • You must have competency in identifying, monitoring, and handling risk and changes in risk • You have excellent written and spoken communication skills as well as interpersonal skills • Proficient in delivering an ADOS and/or ADI assessment • Qualified and experienced in delivering NVR therapy
