• Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is the global market leader in press release distribution and regulatory disclosure. • This role will drive value with a focus on the design, development, and maintenance of data-driven solutions that enable effective decision-making within the organization. • This position will leverage technical expertise and an analytical mindset to collaborate with senior executives within the organization to understand their reporting needs and translate them into scalable business intelligence (BI) solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of prior experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst. • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills. • Proficiency in BI platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker and understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices. • Experience with Oracle Financials highly preferred. Experience with Salesforce a plus. • Strong analytical skillset and effectiveness at organizing, interpreting, and reporting data to senior management. • Exceptional business acumen with focus on Sales and Operations and the ability to understand and translate business needs into actionable reports. • Ability to anticipate problems and solutions while maintaining a long-term, big-picture view; experience in forecasting models to understand patterns in sales data and predict operational needs. • Ability to identify creative solutions to address business needs based on the facts and issues presented. • Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders. • Ability to focus on multiple things at once. A self-starter who can work independently to identity and solve business problems. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics).
