📋 Description

• Manage a team of 5-10 software developers and engineers who will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and tested code. • Drive the expansion of BusPatrol’s Automated Enforcement platform and suite of web services. • Engineer documented, scalable, and secure APIs for event driven microservices architecture. • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to the team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. • Actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and their applications for current and foreseeable challenges. • Work closely with BusPatrol’s product team to align technical solutions with business objectives. • Be a productive member of an inclusive team, valuing practices like pairing and peer-reviewed code. • Follow best practices such as continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards. • Drive the continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into software design and development. • Work with AWS serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, SQS, S3).

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of team leadership or team management experience • 3+ years of experience in Ruby or Python development • 5+ years of experience with web frameworks (e.g., Rails, Rack, Django) • 3+ years of database development experience with MySQL, Postgres, or DynamoDB • 1+ years of front-end experience using Angular, React, or Vue.js • Proven experience in a software product-driven environment • Strong focus on quality and security in software development
