📋 Description

• Engineering Manager at Eduphoria for K-12 educator software • Coach multiple project Build Teams for new features & product improvements • Manage delivery of product with technical guidance and resolving escalations • Help team members identify and resolve day-to-day challenges • Address interpersonal or technical conflicts constructively • Provide consistent feedback & guidance on behavior & performance • Help team members develop decision-making, leadership, and communication skills • Forecast team growth by assessing gaps and growth areas • Onboard new hires and ensure they deliver value on a team • Ensure risks in development activities are identified and controlled • Work closely with product managers and designers to align engineering work

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of Agile Software Engineering principles & practices • Strong coaching & leadership abilities • Able to quickly build rapport & trust among all team members • Able to quickly establish an understanding of existing team relationships & dynamics • Demonstrates a history of growing others • Able to collaborate with direct reports to set creative, observable, and measurable individual goals • Can coach individuals and teams towards making difficult decisions • Can adapt easily to existing team operational style and processes already in place • Adept at managing time & attention across multiple teams & priorities • Great at soliciting and delivering candid & honest feedback • Lead and motivate engineering teams during production outages • Able to build strong, healthy relationships cross-functionally with team members & stakeholders
