• This role will be a part-time role working an estimated 5-10 hours per week. • About Butter: Subscription companies are losing 10%+ of revenue to failed payments—billions of dollars a year—a problem known as “Involuntary churn.” • Butter is on a mission to end involuntary churn. Using machine learning we help the greatest subscription companies in the world—Fabletics, The Athletic, Savage x Fenty, Found, Tonal, Hairstory—recover more revenue, optimize authorization rates, and increase customer lifetime value. • Role Overview: Butter Payments seeking a strong SEO expert and that’s also a certified Google Ads Specialist, and ideally, some web development skills. • Responsibilities will involve leading comprehensive SEO strategies, including conducting audits to identify areas for improving organic search rankings and driving traffic. • You will optimize on-page elements like meta tags, headers, and content to enhance search engine visibility, while also developing and implementing link-building strategies to improve domain authority. • You will also be responsible for managing Google Ads campaigns, you will develop, implement, and optimize campaigns across search and display networks. • Additionally, you will support web development by contributing to website design and technical SEO improvements, ensuring sites are optimized for both user experience and SEO compliance.

Requirements

• Google Ads Certification with 3+ years of experience managing successful paid search campaigns. • Proven expertise in SEO, including both on-page and off-page strategies, with a strong track record of driving organic growth. • Web development skills (preferred) with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and platforms like Webflow. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about digital marketing. • Proven ability to start from the grounds up by bringing in the necessary tools and processes Experience with WebFlow
