Description

• Client is seeking a contractor for the Engineering Content Management group who will be responsible for operations, access and troubleshooting of SharePoint and web-based business solutions. • This person will also be responsible for security group audits. • ECM Operations Support Specialist duties include: • Provide prompt, effective, and courteous support for all SharePoint-based application solutions within the ECM portfolio, supporting the NCDOT transportation lifecycle. • Monitor ServiceNow, ensuring timely responses to problems, questions, and requests. • Resolve end user issues swiftly, involving technical experts when needed. • Create and provide help documentation for common problems. • Gather and report issues on EAS systems during the daily executive status call. • Create new sites for Conceptual Express Designs, Preconstruction Projects, and upcoming Construction contracts, both on request and proactively. • Create and maintain access groups for various partners and internal teams. • Perform annual audits of access groups to ensure accurate membership and contact information. • Approve requests for lettings and grant access to Conceptual Express Design and Preconstruction Project sites. • Assist with ad hoc testing of new application development features as needed.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with SharePoint. • Preferably SharePoint2019 and SharePoint SE • Experience with Active Directory • Extensive experience with SharePoint security groups • Experience with ServiceNow • Experience with MS Teams and Microsoft office tools including Excel and Word • Ability to be proactive and work independently • Ability to work with customers at different levels of the department as well as external customers.
