Description

• Bynder is seeking a seasoned remote Mid to Sr. Software Engineer to join and lead a talented team of Software Engineers. • This role will provide technical leadership, guidance and support to a platform team in San Carlos. • Your team collaborates with teams in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Barcelona and you will work tightly together with your counterparts overseas. • This role requires a hands-on individual that is willing to produce high-quality code while instituting development best practices and driving the team’s success. • Your team is currently working on implementing microservices and you would join the team to continue the implementation of many other services and features over the coming years.

Requirements

• Experience building microservices with containers, Scala and Reactive. • BS or higher in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment. • 2+ years experience mentoring a team of 4-5 engineers. • Experience working with server-side applications. • Excellent coding skills. • Develop and deploy applications on AWS or other cloud solutions. • Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering experience in a production environment. • Experience in security practices and standards. • Experience in a fast paced, agile development environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrates ability to work cross-functionally including support and QA.
