Description

•The Safety / EH&S Compliance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all company environmental, health, and safety policies, as well as OSHA and other local, state, and federal employment statutes. •The successful candidate will assist with defining safety compliance standards, report on non-conformances, provide data analysis of each location’s compliance and safety records, and conduct training, monitoring and observations in the field on safety related matters. •This is a remote position and only candidates residing in California will be considered for this position. The ideal candidate will live near one of our offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Francisco.

Requirements

•Candidate must reside in California •3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a safety or environmental support role •Degree in Safety, Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience •Understanding and knowledge of Cal-OSHA and other federal and state occupational laws •Knowledge of auditing and supporting locations virtually •Experience with data analytics and data reporting tools •Understanding of Corporate processes and how to document, train and continuously improve processes •High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
