Description

• Lead technical aspects of large, complex projects • Manage critical path process from pre-design through project completion • Integrate and develop technical content of the work • Work with Project Manager on work/labor plans and schedules • Engage in Project Risk Assessment process • Guide Project Architects in developing Quality Plans • Review and execute documentation strategy for drawing deliverables • Collaborate with Project Design Lead to manage design aspirations • Lead translation of project design intent through documentation phases • Monitor project documentation for compliance • Guide Project Architects in code analysis and compliance • Lead discipline coordination with design intent • Collaborate with Model Manager for quality monitoring • Align contract documentation with Project Specification Writer

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field required • Minimum 12 years of related professional experience • Experience includes 5 years in increasingly responsible roles in construction documentation on institutional and/or commercial projects and at least 3 years in a responsible role in construction administration on large institutional or commercial projects • Current Architectural Registration in the United States required; LEED accreditation preferred • Must be able to lead large, complex or multiple projects • Must have strong subject matter expertise • Must possess strong business acumen • Demonstrated focus on quality • Strong technical leadership with knowledge of building codes and requirements • Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential • Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
