📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in Developer Experience (DevEx) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our dynamic team. • In this role, you will empower and support a team of engineers responsible for optimizing the developer experience by building efficient, reliable, and scalable tools and workflows. • You will also guide SRE initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of our software systems. • Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic mindset will be critical in enhancing engineering productivity and delivering highly reliable services. • Lead and support a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and maximize their potential. • Shape the technical vision and strategy for DevEx and SRE practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. • Oversee the design and implementation of developer-centric tools, platforms, and workflows to streamline code building, testing, and deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the internal developer experience and accelerate delivery cycles. • Champion the adoption of continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to improve developer efficiency and code quality. • Establish and monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, driving the adoption of SRE best practices to meet or exceed these targets. • Facilitate incident management and post-incident analysis efforts, identifying root causes, implementing preventive measures, and driving continuous improvement to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. • Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure adherence to security standards, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices in infrastructure design and operations. • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in DevEx, SRE, and infrastructure automation, and advocate for their adoption within the organization. • Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies related to DevEx and SRE initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on DevEx and SRE or infrastructure engineering. • Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results. • Strong technical background in developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and source control systems (e.g., Git). • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for system performance and log analysis. • In-depth knowledge of SRE methodologies, incident management, and post-incident analysis. • Familiarity with performance optimization, debugging, and reducing developer toil through automation. • Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in infrastructure environments. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions. • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
