• Caraway is a home goods brand on a mission to craft well-designed, non-toxic kitchenware. • We’re passionate about creating elevated products, free of chemicals, that are better for you, your family, and the world. • Since launching in November 2019, we’ve become one of the fastest growing digitally-native brands of the last decade. • We pride ourselves on continuously striving to do and be better - for you and the planet - every step of the process. • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Full Stack Engineer to lead the core site experience team at Caraway Home. • As the lead engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring technical solutions are scalable, performant, and meet all stakeholder requirements. • You will also ensure the core experience team can execute on tasks efficiently to meet product requirements and participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including strategy, development, testing and sprint planning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full stack development • 2+ years of experience working in e-commerce, direct to consumer is preferred • 3+ years of people management experience • Expertise in developing, maintaining, and reviewing frontend and backend code; utilizing modern HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and web APIs • Writes clean modular code and wants to craft beautiful customer-facing experiences • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce required • Experience with a use of a react framework such as Gatsby or Next in a production environment • Self-starter with a passion for learning and continuous improvement • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences
