• Join us on the journey to get to net zero. • We dedicate our scientific, software, and business expertise to empower organizations to take climate action. • Our mission is to enable organizations to reduce, remove, and utilize their emissions with carbon science. • Carbon Direct is seeking an experienced Engineer or Scientist to support and lead complex carbon management advisory engagements. • You will apply a deep understanding of energy and process engineering for impactful carbon management projects. • Provide clear and compelling deliverables, including reports, briefs, and presentations. • Stay informed about technological, scientific, and regulatory developments in the decarbonization space.
Requirements
• Demonstrated expertise in carbon management, decarbonization, and carbon dioxide removal technologies. • Professional experience, or in-depth study of at least one of the following: Carbon capture and sequestration; Chemical processing; Clean transportation; Life Cycle Assessments; Engineered carbon dioxide removal solutions; Carbon markets. • Master’s or PhD degree in engineering or closely related field, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in Excel and/or other analytical software. • Client engagement experience is preferred.
