• As our Director of Digital Testing Content, you’ll play an instrumental role in transforming the standardized testing experience and changing the way we develop content about test administration. • Use your editorial and analytical skills to support educators with content and tools that help them complete tasks easily and quickly. • Write instructions and best practices that are simple, clear, accurate, and above all useful. • Advocate internally for a minimalist approach to content, using fewer words to do more for the user. • Be responsible for every aspect of content development: Planning and Discovery (20%), Writing and Revising (50%), Content Production (30%).
• 7+ years writing and editing for digital channels • A track record of writing simply about complex topics • Respond to feedback productively and admit mistakes quickly and openly • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail • Comfortable collaborating with teams and working independently • Know how to manage expectations, deliver on deadline, and handle conflicting priorities • Experience using content management systems • Designed or written UI copy for digital applications (preferred) • Know how to implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (preferred) • Experience in education-related industries, particularly digital assessment (preferred) • Ability to travel 4-6 times per year to College Board meetings and events
