Description

• Responsible for leading major sales discussions, presentations, and course placement to drive AP African American Studies goals. • Ensure large scale implementation success through Administrator Training and Teacher Guidance. • Influence various stakeholders to drive strategy for student access and course sections.

Requirements

• Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills, along with the ability to manage a variety of internal and external relationships and resources to develop sustained partnerships. • Experience using customer relationship management systems like Salesforce. • Strong content knowledge and/or ability to learn the content deeply related to African American Studies. • 7-10+ years of directly related, progressively responsible work experience in a professional position in education at the district and/or state level, with a preferred emphasis on education reform, assessment, policy, and/or accountability. • Experience driving strategy across constituents (K-12, higher ed) to produce effective partnerships, as well as a broad command of how relationships among accountability, assessment, curriculum & instruction, education policy, research, data analysis impact student outcomes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing and leading presentations, and ability to analyze and succinctly summarize key data points to present key findings to constituents. • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills, along with the ability to manage a variety of internal and external relationships and resources to develop sustained partnerships. • A demonstrated ability to build deep and meaningful relationships, to influence others to action, and to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously. • Strong organization and prioritization skills and the proven ability to move forward multiple time-sensitive projects in concert, both independently and as a member of the team. • A passion for education and deep commitment to the College Board’s mission of promoting educational equity, access, and excellence for students of all backgrounds. • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft applications. • Strong preference for fluency in Teams. • A Bachelor’s degree. • A willingness and ability to travel 40-45%.
