Description

• Responsible for overseeing vendor management staff in selecting, monitoring, and auditing third-party service providers. • Establish procedures and processes and train staff accordingly. • Monitor and report on SLA compliance and other contractual obligations. • Conduct risk assessments of vendors and develop strategies to minimize risk. • Manage compliance of all third-party vendors to regulatory and internal policy. • Oversee vendor scorecard meetings and report to Senior Management on vendor performance. • Conduct periodic risk reviews of critical/high-risk vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Five (5) or more years of vendor management experience with at least three years in the mortgage industry. • Demonstrated experience in establishing, negotiating, and enforcing vendor contracts and service level agreements. • Three (3+) or more years of supervisory experience. • Thorough knowledge of the vendor management process • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
