Description

• Design, implement, and fine-tune machine learning models tailored to business needs. • Ensure models are robust and scalable through rigorous testing (e.g., cross-validation, A/B testing). • Deploy models into production environments with high efficiency. • Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models using advanced metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, MAE, MAPE). • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports, making data accessible to non-technical stakeholders. • Lead and mentor junior and mid-level data scientists, fostering a collaborative learning environment. • Work with big data tools and platforms like PySpark and Databricks to process and analyze large datasets.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a top university. A Master’s degree or higher is strongly preferred. • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of data science experience, focusing on machine learning and analytics. Proven track record of leading projects and teams in a professional setting. Proven Leadership experience. • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R for data analysis and modeling. Strong knowledge of data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy) and platforms (Jupyter Notebooks). Expertise in machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, ensemble methods, and neural networks. Advanced SQL skills and experience with NoSQL databases for unstructured data. Hands-on experience with big data tools such as PySpark, Databricks, or equivalent. • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical insights for non-expert stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams effectively. • Language Proficiency: Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) is required. Spanish proficiency is an asset.
