πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ The IT Tester is responsible for performing comprehensive quality assurance testing of application software, Financial Module. β€’ This role ensures that all software applications are thoroughly tested to meet quality standards and operational benchmarks. β€’ The IT Tester's primary focus is on the integrity and reliability of software applications, aligning with Cayuse's core values. β€’ The tester ensures that all applications meet or exceed predefined quality standards and function according to specific user requirements. β€’ Execute rigorous testing of application software using various methodologies to ensure the highest quality standards. β€’ Analyze requirements and user stories to formulate detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts. β€’ Meticulously document test outcomes and report any identified bugs or defects. β€’ Generate and validate test data and cases to confirm that the software performs as expected. β€’ Conduct thorough testing of application components, including usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility tests. β€’ Work closely with other team members to synchronize technical and security testing efforts. β€’ Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies, including team meetings and design sessions.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Three (3) years of experience in quality assurance testing of application software using varied testing methodologies. β€’ Developing, writing, and executing test cases, scenarios, and/or scripts. β€’ Identifying, developing, and validating test data and test cases that ensure software functionality and features are working within established benchmarks and customer expectations. β€’ Experience working with DPS projects is mandatory. β€’ Must be able to pass a background check. β€’ Must possess problem-solving skills. β€’ Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. β€’ Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency. β€’ Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. β€’ Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks. β€’ Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team. β€’ Certifications in the field of Software QA such as certifications from ISTQB are desirable. β€’ Experience documenting requirements and/or user stories. β€’ Experience in creating operating procedures, user guides, and/or training material. β€’ Experience working as a member of a Scrum Team. β€’ Familiarity with Jira, Jama, and Zephyr.
