📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization, dashboard development, and data modeling, as well as the ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Dashboard and Report Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to meet business requirements. • Data Modeling and Transformation: Build and maintain robust data models to support analytical requirements. • Integration and Automation: Integrate Power BI with various data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, Azure Data Lake, or APIs. • Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives. • Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance and scalability. • Documentation and Best Practices: Document data models, report structures, and processes for future reference.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 10-15 year of relevant experience is required. • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. • Experience connecting Power BI to a variety of data sources, including relational databases, cloud platforms, and APIs. • Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Secret Clearance. • Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst). • Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics). • Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik). • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
