Description
• Assist in evaluation of accounting treatment for significant transactions • Research applicable GAAP and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements • Review contracts to identify technical accounting matters • Prepare financial information and disclosures for financial statements • Assist in external audit and review process • Prepare balance sheet analysis and record journal entries • Review financial data for accuracy • Research and reconcile discrepancies • Work closely with project teams • Assist with compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 • Proactively work on accounting efficiencies • Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance • CPA • 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting or public company • Knowledge of GAAP, SEC and SOX practices and processes • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Excel • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and clients
