• Manage Avantus’ engagement with regulatory bodies • Ensure policy positions align with business objectives • Shape regulatory landscape for clean energy deployment • Lead strategic efforts to draft filings and monitor changes • Communicate policy developments to senior leadership
Requirements
• Strong experience within the renewable energy sector. • Deep knowledge of CAISO, WECC structures, state PUC’s and the FERC regulatory process. • Exceptional communication skills with strong ability to develop and deliver concise, compelling messages at all levels. • Passionate leader who gets things done. • Strong analytic skills to understand policy impact on energy development and pricing. • Ability to develop deep creative solutions to regulatory challenges and align them with business priorities. • Collaborative team player who excels in working across multiple internal groups and external stakeholders. • Extremely adaptable to change in a fast-moving and innovative environment. • JD, MBA, MS in Policy, or other advanced degrees preferred.
