📋 Description
• Celerion, a leader in early clinical research, is seeking an accomplished Global Controller to join our team! • Position Overview • This senior financial position is responsible for managing financial accounting functions across the global organization. • This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and will work closely with Operational Vice Presidents and Company Managers. • This role requires masterful management of the general ledger, monthly close processes, annual audit coordination and reporting, state tax filings, and strict adherence to GAAP and internal control requirements.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 15+ years of accounting and finance experience • International experience required • Knowledge and proficiency with accounting systems and Excel required • Experience in a service industry required • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills • Ability to manage a distributed team • Ability to manage multiple priorities required • Able to build relationships with all levels of employees and across borders • Strong leadership skills with the ability to be hands-on • Preferred Qualifications include CPA certification, M&A experience, geographical expansion and integration familiarity and experience in clinical research organizations or the healthcare industry.
