Description

• Helps lead projects focused on platform infrastructure performance, reliability, and security • Develops services to automate monitoring activities • Advocates for standardized software tools for uninterrupted systems • Troubleshoots service disruptions and develops reliability solutions • Designs Kubernetes clusters for scalability, resilience, and security • Deploys Kubernetes clusters on various environments • Implements Infrastructure as Code practices for automation • Configures Kubernetes clusters according to best practices • Manages containerized applications using Kubernetes primitives • Integrates Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines • Implements monitoring and logging solutions for insights • Ensures clusters adhere to security best practices • Optimizes cluster performance by fine-tuning resources • Designs disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies • Diagnoses and resolves cluster and application deployment issues • Shares knowledge and mentors junior members • Keeps updated with Kubernetes developments and collaborates with cross-functional teams • Maintains documentation for cluster architecture and operational procedures • Maintains deployed systems with the latest updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field • Requires 5 – 7 years of related experience • Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE1/2, EKS, AKS • Experience with Linux Operating System: Ubuntu, Amazon Linux 2 • Experience with Observability/Monitoring: Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus • Experience with CICD: Ansible, GitLab, Terraform, Helm • Experience with Public Cloud: AWS and Azure • Experience with Programming Tools: Python, API/REST, Bash • Experience with CLI Tools: Kubectl, Docker, Nerdctl, Git, AWS CLI • Experience with Code Repositories: auto deployments, branching with tools such as Gitlab, Artifactory • Experience with IT Service Management Tools: Service Now, Atlassian Tools - Jira, Confluence
