📋 Description

• Assist the Operations Manager in leading the Underwriting Assistant team. • Conduct quality reviews, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with company standards. • Support underwriting with booking, drafting, issuing, and post-bind transactions. • Monitor and manage work to ensure accurate policy transactions are booked and issued. • Conduct quality reviews of insurance policies, cancellations, endorsements, and other transactions. • Communicate and collaborate with other departments to answer policy questions and resolve issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines rating, comprehensive issuance, and post-bind processes. • Experience with Admitted insurance policies highly preferred. • Strong expertise in surplus lines policy issuance and post-bind operations. • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Must be able to travel as required (5-10%). • Highly motivated with a positive outlook and a service-oriented mentality. • Ability to adapt quickly and move seamlessly between projects. • Strong math and data analysis skills, with comfort in interpreting and manipulating report data.
