Description

• Commonwealth Fusion Systems is on a mission to deliver the urgent transition to fusion energy. • The Scientific Software team develops software for superconducting magnets and tokamaks. • This role will have engineering responsibility for an internal web app. • The app supports the processing of superconducting material and hosts the world’s largest HTS test dataset. • Curiosity and clear communication across technical disciplines will be essential.

Requirements

• Worked on a production web application, preferably as a technical lead. • TypeScript programming language. • Frontend web development, preferably React. • Backend web development in TypeScript, including interfaces to SQL databases. • Have been on-call for operations/support of a web application. • Able to develop software to a high standard of quality and maintainability using linting, unit and integration testing, code review, and documentation. • Communicating with stakeholders to discover and triage feature needs.
