Description

• Riipen is looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join our Finance Team. • This role will be very hands-on with Riipen’s day-to-day operational finance and accounting functions. • Riipen is a mission-driven company focused on education, promoting curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. • This role is fully remote and you can be located anywhere in Canada.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of experience in an accounting role • Have or are actively working towards a CPA designation • Have the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously • Have the ability to stay organized in a busy environment • Have advanced Excel skills • Are detail oriented and take pride in delivering accurate results • Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment • Connect personally and professionally with our company values • Bonus Points: • Experience in full cycle accounting • Proficiency in presenting data and documenting variance analysis • Experience with NetSuite, Hubspot, and other SaaS metrics platforms • Exposure to Canadian/US Sales Taxes, multi-currency, and multi-entity environment
