Requirements

• Technical experience is a must. Either prior experience as a developer, or proven success working with senior technical teams. • Deep familiarity with OSS operating system distributions, packaging formats & toolchains, covering both low-level components (compilers, parsers, low-level libraries like glibc and openssl, etc.) as well as high-level software (databases, server software, etc.) that might appear in a distribution. • Knowledge of FIPS 140-3 (Federal Information Processing Standards) cryptography and implications upon an OS distribution is a plus. • Ability to navigate complex decision-making and effectively communicate across teams. • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams and leaders. • Ability to define crisp requirements, write high-level documents, prepare and present material company-wide, and sell a senior leadership team + executive team on initiatives. • Excellent written and verbal communication and proven track record with developers-as-customers, hands-on execution and timely delivery. • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.
