Description

• As the first dedicated mobile engineer at Charlie Health, you will establish the direction and build mobile applications from the ground up. • This role offers the opportunity to set standards and lay the groundwork for future mobile engineering hires. • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape, refine, and scale our mobile experience to deliver on our mission of improving mental health care access. • We’re a team of passionate, forward-thinking professionals eager to take on the challenge of the mental health crisis and play a formative role in providing life-saving solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience building and delivering native mobile applications in production environments for both iOS and Android. • Expertise with modern mobile development technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, or similar, to deliver high-performance, user-friendly applications. • Proven ability to build and own CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications that cover the entire development lifecycle, from testing, building, qa’ing, and listing releases in the Apple App Store and Google Play. • Experience instrumenting and monitoring mobile applications with tools such as Datadog or Sentry. • Strong understanding of mobile design principles, UX best practices, and platform-specific considerations for creating exceptional user experiences. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams. • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions. • Growth mindset, adaptability, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. • Please note that members of this team who live within 75 minutes of a Charlie Health office are expected to adhere to a hybrid work schedule.
