📋 Description
• Chronosphere is seeking a passionate, analytical, detailed oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for our workforce of about 280+ employees across multiple US States and International locations. • Manage all aspects of payroll processing and submissions which includes semi-monthly and monthly payroll for about 280+ employees across different states in the US and countries internationally. • Stay up to date with the local tax laws, labor regulations and statutory requirements. • Provide excellent support to employees regarding payroll inquiries. • Lead year end processes including W-2 generation and distribution.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field • 5+ years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll • Experience managing relationships with EOR • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements • Experience with payroll audits, 401(k) audits and compliance reviews • Experience working at an early stage tech startup, or small team within a larger company • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Experience with Payroll systems • Experience with Rippling, Deel, Remote, Fidelity systems (Nice to Have) • Understanding of general ledger and accounting principles (Nice to Have)
