📋 Description

• Lead role in developing and executing corporate strategy for infrastructure connectivity solutions. • Facilitate development and execution of long-term strategies for wide area network and data center fabric infrastructure connectivity. • Develop external network of industry leaders to influence infrastructure connectivity strategies. • Conduct situational analyses and generate actionable insights on existing optical interconnect, routing and switching and software markets. • Identify technology and business opportunities for WaveLogic technology and networking software. • Collaborate to build business cases and facilitate executive decision-making on strategic investment priorities. • Provide leadership on strategic decision-making including business intelligence, research, and corporate development activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent. • MBA or similar management-related master's degree preferred. • Ten years of industry experience, with at least five years of demonstrated experience and leadership in network and/or fabric infrastructure technology, strategy and/or business development. • Experience performing strategic analysis in the infrastructure network connectivity business. • Proven track record in the incubation, development and management of system products associated with networking and/or data center markets. • Good understanding of network and/or data center automation, operations, telemetry, and software defined networking (SDN) trends. • Ability to evangelize and articulate strategy, products and solutions to customers and partners at both business and technical levels. • Capable of successfully engaging and interacting across multiple functions and corporate levels to drive change management and business outcomes. • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual skills to solve complex problems. • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Excels in a fast-paced, high growth environment and able to be a self-starter within a highly collaborative domain. • Ability to work effectively with geographically and technically diverse teams.
