Description

• Circle is looking for an experienced Principal, Know Your Customer (KYC). • Conduct specialized diligence reviews for customer onboarding. • Operate at the intersection of innovative products and customers. • Support Circle’s efforts to ensure the safety of its platform. • Reviewing complex customer assessments for risk of money laundering. • Managing specialized diligence reviews and assessing controls. • Oversighting of complex account relationships and comprehensive reviews. • Partnering with key internal stakeholders to ensure compliance. • Providing guidance to Business and acting as point of escalation. • Closely following regulatory and compliance developments in cryptocurrency. • Acting as Subject Matter Expert of existing and emerging blockchains and technologies.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus. • 10+ years of relevant experience in AML and KYC reviews for crypto or financial institutions. • A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology. • First-class investigative capabilities and problem-solving skills. • A get things done mindset, able to think strategically. • Experience collaborating cross functionally and driving results. • An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions. • Proven experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. • Strong leadership, relationship management skills and executive presence. • Excellent communication skills and presence. • Work effectively in a fully remote environment. • Presenting to regulators, examiners and auditors performing reviews. • CAMS, CFCS or CFE certification is a plus.
